UI ANIMATION

We incorporated the UI motion as it is portrayed in the vehicle and added on-brand highlights to help explain the features. I was responsible for all UI animation done which was done in After Effects based on assets developed in Figma.

3D ANIMATION

To help users understand the context, we also created 3D scenarios to illustrate how the features would be used on the road. I was responsible for animating and rendering two of the 3D pieces which needed to sync with the UI animation.

Invention Hunter is a yearly project where design studios around the world submit ideas for new innovations. We researched the feasibility and necessity of various ideas, some sourced from the Innovation Lab teams, others thought of by us. Then, my team worked with the color, interior, and exterior teams to design a concept car that included the innovations we wanted to showcase. As the only motion designer on the team and created all 2D UI and 3D animation. The project went on to be shown at the Nissan headquarters in Japan and garnered attention for the value of digital innovations that are both delightful and practical.
